Project Assistant Friends of the Countryside (2007)
Countryside Impulse is a project organised by Friends of the Countryside with its partners the Dutch Federation of Agriculture and Horticulture (LTO Netherlands) and Wageningen University and Research Centre (Wageningen RU). The project coaches and supports farmers who have started new (side) activities. A better connection with the market is worked on through workshops. In the autumn of 2006, nearly 400 farmers divided into 35 different project groups have started dealing with the themes of: education, regional products, recreation, nature conservation, health care and child care. Countryside Impulse will be running until the end of 2007.
Croes & Horst Project Management is supporting this support through temporary reinforcement of the project team by a project assistant. Among other things, the project assistant organises the final symposium, contributes to the communicative activities from the 35 project groups and performs administrative activities.
